On 30^th Aug. 2008, China Enterprise Confederation and Chinese Entrepreneurs Association jointly announced their 2008 China's Top 500 Enterprises List, in which Shenyang Yuanda Group ranks No.408 among China's Top 500 Enterprises and No.233 among China's Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises, with its annual revenues of 11,278 million Yuan in the year 2007. 

 

According to their announcement, the total revenues of China's top 500 enterprises reach US$ 2.99 trillion (1 Dollar = 7.3046 Yuan, calculated under the exchange rate in 2007), meanwhile the profits US$ 188.4 billion and assets US$ 8.17 trillion.

 

Compared with the global top 500 enterprises, the revenues, profits and assets of China's top 500 enterprises in the year 2008 are equivalent to 12.67%, 11.85% and 7.79 % of those of the global top 500 enterprises respectively, showing the increased percentage compared with the 10.7%, 6.5% and 7.8% in the last year.

 

Analysts say that the growing proportion of revenues and profits indicates that the Chinese companies become more and more competitive and profitable.
