Shanghai World Trade International Square is situated at the most busiest mall- The Nanjing Road pedestrian mall, with a construction area of 170000m2, and the first high rise building in Puxi. The main building is the ultra five-star hotel, with the height of 333m; the podiums, 55m high and 43200m2   shopping area.

The construction main body uses triangle block, while the entire building is constituted of several triangles. The tower top and 37-46 storey is slant; the hanging level on triangle square along Nanjing Road may hold 700 as a large-scale banquet halls; the side along Nanjing Road adopts a declining way and roof garden.

The whole construction adopts horizontal sliding unitised curtain wall structure. The horizontal sliding unit curtain wall has excellent waterproofing performance and stable property because of its strong adaptation of main structure deformation.

Unit curtain wall plate design
The basic unit height size of unit curtain wall is one floor height, and unitised curtain wall panel grid width. Matching material together with glass material makes up the unitised panel. The boarder unitised panel may be connected by inserted materials.
 Alloy mid-horizental is equiped in the level, connected with inserted vertical frame by mechanic nail. The glass plate is fixed on the horizental and vertical keel by structure selant.

The insert and connection design of unit curtain wall plate
Left and right, up and down of the plate has a couple of insert and connection material, by which the unit plate transfer load and seal. Install three selants on the insert and connection material, colsely connect with material and make the internal material form two rain cavity to effectively prevent air and rain entry.

Multi-function core insert design
The horizontal sliding unitised curtain wall use inserts multi-function core connection between two crosswise unit plates, which may transfer force as well as the key point of water and air tightness and drainage. The multi core insert will enhance the seal also allows less rain water into the cavity to achieve the purpose of drainage. It utilized an unique parallel horizontal drainage and vertical mullion drainage. The drainage holes are all filled with waterproof chokers and to effectively realize drainage and waterproof demand.
